Amar is the only son of his widowed mother. He is a youth of compassionate nature and is ready to make any sacrifice for his mother. He is jobless and a poor young man who has not been able to make an honest living, so much so that even his mother dies on the road as a result of an accident, because he has not been able even to buy spectacles for her. The tragic end of Amar’s mother, ultimately drives him in to the clutches of a ruthless smuggler king named ‘CAPTAIN’. Amar, like any other gullible young man falls prey to the tricks of the gambling-cum-smuggling racket.

His meeting with Sheetal and an orphaned child baby Pinky add new dimensions to the dramatic life of Amar and what transpires ultimately amongst various characters of the story and how Amar becomes a reformed Samaritan and helps the police in nabbing the ‘Captain gang’ can best be seen on the silver screen itself.
